ASBESTOS SURVEY TRAINING COURSE
BENEFIT OF TRAINEE:
To understand the technical background of asbestos control implementation system as set up by both international and flag states regulation requirements, such as Australia, Netherlands, UK etc.
Familiarization of the inspection and testing knowledge of asbestos. Being fully aware of the existence risk of asbestos containing materials within marine supply chain.
Being competent to verify, audit and certify the asbestos inspection report and asbestos free certificate(AFC) as submitted by the specialists/shipyard/owner.

Module 2: Recommended practice regarding how to generate, maintain /initial survey (approve and certify) the asbestos condition of newbuilding vessels to issue the Safety Construction Certificate?

The course also includes interactive exercises, case studies, quizzes and a final examination.

- Surveyors and auditors of Port States and/or Classification Societies
- HSE professionals responsible for maintain hazardous mateial Safety Management System on board ships(including offshore vessels and facilities.)
- Quality and technical personnel from the shipyard who are designated to prepare IHM for shipyard, repair yard and equipment manufacturers.
